As you can see, the trainers at Kinetic Connections have multiple interests, the desire to learn, and committment. We’re here for you to use our knowledge and experise to better youself in all of your physical endeavors. Summer has been extremely busy. Our keynote activity during the summer is our S.P.A. (Speed,Power, and Agility) camp. We had 26 athletes attend our four week session, and 12 attend our second session on improving linear speed. Camp ends next Saturday. We will be starting our open sessions in September, on Saturday and Sunday mornings, 7:30-8:30a.m.

    We are closer to August than June. What does that mean? School is right around the corner. Football will be starting, basketball, volleyball, and soccer aren’t too far around rthe corner. It’s time to start to think about how you are going to improve your abilities in these sports. If you are an athlete that plays any of th above sports, or have an athlete that plays any of the above sports, call us to see where we can help your athlete have their best season ever.     Last of all, I, Larry Stone, would like to convey an example of what happens when somebody comes to us, works hard, does what we say, and returns to their sport to just dominate at their position. This weekend, my profile goes out to Sephany “Midge” Parks. I had the pleasure to umpire the NSA ( National Softball Association ) Wisconsin state qualifier for the NSA girls fastpitch “World Series”. I was in awe watching Midge cover the left side of the infield as second baseman. But, the best part was when Stephany hit a sinking liner to right. The ball got past the right fielder. She got a standup triple. Anybody else would have had a close play at 3. That was only one part of the game. She selflessly executed a sacrifice bunt. Her coverage of the plate was excellent. She appeared to have the knowlege she had the ability to do whatever she wanted to do at the plate. This was the intangible we see time and again from our athletes. She is a team player from the word go. That’s what we produce. Thank you Midge for making us proud.

The Staff at Kinetic connections

    Upcoming events on our calender include attending the Antioch High School Football meeting on April 14th. We will be there to discuss our summer camp. Our summer camp will start in the middle of June. Stay posted for the exact starting date. We continue to hold our adult open workouts at Colletti Physical Therapy, on Monday and Wednesday nights, from 7-8 p.m. We have dropped the Friday morning class from 5:30-6:30 a.m. due to lack of attendence. Those adults, who were coming on Fridays, have chosen to go to the adult  workouts on Saturdays at Grass Lake School from 7:30-8:30 a.m. All are welcome. Our Saturday and Sunday workouts for athletes, Junior High through College age, will continue through the end of May.     Last of all, we are still working on updating our Facebook page for Kinetic Connections. Hopefully we can post some of  our pictures and videos from our workouts soon.

We will be adding videos to our website this year. These videos are intended to be instructional with a theme, i.e. improve explosiveness. Hopefully over time we will have a video library showing our training techniques and explaining the philosophy behind the drills and exercises we use in our training. All of our training is researched and tested to be affective in improving performance. We would like to share this information with our followers over the next year.
