Jon will no longer be participating in project perfection secondary to some unrelated health issues.  We were honored to have the opportunity to work with him.  His progress over the first 6 weeks was incredible as seen by the photographs below.  Jon lost close to 9 percent bodyfat and approximately 17 pound.  These results were achieved through 6 weeks of adherence to the diet and exercise program.  Jon did not  cheat even 1 day.  Jon achieved these results all naturally, without any performance enhancing supplements.

situpsPeople ask me all the time, “ Why am I not improving?” I hear this time and again with workouts and weight loss programs. I usually start with simple questions to see where the breakdown in either type of program lies.  Most people will say, “I’m doing what I’m supposed to do, I’m not seeing results anymore.” If this is true for you, you may want to go back and examine your progress in your workouts or your diets.  Throughout this series, I will examine each of the keys to your success:

  1. Set a realistic obtainable goal
  2. Profess your goal to somebody other than yourself
  3. Join a group with similar goals
  4. Keep a journal (be honest)
  5. Make it fun

Stay with us, success is right around the corner.

EarlyBarbellKinetic Connections is excited to announce we will be venturing into the world of bodybuilding. We have committed to training two athletes, Carley Karwoski and Jon Krizman. Their goal is to train for a figure competition and a bodybuilding competition. We have offered to assist them with their training. This is something completely new to us. Our background lies in weightlifting mainly to enhance performance on the playing field. Snap 24 Hour Fitness in Lake Villa has offered to help with providing a home gym to work out of a Nourish, LLC out of St. Louis, Mo. has shown an interest in providing nutritional consultation. On our end, Kinetic Connections will be providing workout routines and supervision in the gym. This is a learning process for all involved. We are excited to do something new and a little out of our comfort zone. Over the next year we will be journaling our progress through this journey. We will start with baseline measurements and photos and hopefully follow this project through to a competition late next fall or early next winter. Please join us as we navigate through this experience.
