Project Perfection Week 16

Carley has her new workout in hand. She will be getting together with us to review the workout and go through all the steps. Our focus will be more on weight loss and improving her proportion from bottom to top. There will be more aerobic and interval training and less weight training. We have changed the weightlifting program to maintain what she has gained. She will be working with each muscle group one time a week only and she will be adhering to 4:1 weightlifting rhythm ( 4count for contraction, 1count for relaxation). Again, stay tuned for all of her workout routines to date. We will be posting them soon.

Both Carley and Jon attended the 2010 Heart of America Natural Bodybuilding and Figure Competition in Peoria, IL. Carley’s comment, “The competition was awesome, th the entire time during the figure portion of the competition, Jon and I were sizing me up. Seeing what I need to work on, and I feel all I really need to work on is weight loss.. These girls were not ripped at all, and definition was not significant… I feel like this is something I could definitely succeed in. ” We at Kinetic Connections  are happy. Two goals were achieved: 1) Carley saw what the reality of all her work is leading toward, and 2) She realized what she needed to do to be more competitive, lose some weight. Ironically, Carley received her workout last Friday and weight loss is the goal of this phase of her program. We’re all on the same page and moving forward. We’re about 1/3 to 1/2 way to competition.
