Happy Father’s Day to all of you fathers out there. Proud fathers are a little different than proud mothers. Mothers are excited when their children are well behaved, emotinally well adjusted, and just good representatives of their family. Fathers, on the other hand, take pride in their childrens physical successes. They like it when their kids are the fastest, strongest, and toughest. This goes for both their daughters, and their sons. We take pride in the athletic achievements of our athletes. The awards just keep comig in. We’d like to congratulte Megan Sowa for her selection as MVP of her Varsity Softball team. Megan is only a sophomore. We just heard NathanCamponile was All State in tennis. Again, they both worked hard while the competition was sleeping. Keep coming back. The successes of our athletes are not a coincidence.

It’s official, summer has started. The 7th annual S.P.A. ( Speed, Power, Agility) Camp kicked off with baseline testing yesterday. As always, the most dedicated athletes appear at our camp. It is always nice to see our first timers, and the seasoned veterans. The look is always the same, the new athletes have that unsure look and the veterans have smiles and that look of confidence. The unsure look comes from not knowing what they are in for. That look of, “what can this possibly do for me?” The look of confidence comes from that knowledge of knowing the time and effort I am putting forth for the next 4-6 weeks is going to move me to the front of the line when comes to my next season. The excitement of watching the transformation of our athletes as they progress through our summer camp never gets old. Welcome to all of our athletes for the Summer S.P.A. Camp, 2011. It’s not too late to attend if you haven’t signed  up. We’re off to the races from now til the end of July.

People continue to call and ask if they can participate in the S.P.A. (Speed Power Agility) Camp this summer. We would like to see as many athletes as possible. The most common question asked is: ” If we can’t attend all sessions, can we still participate?” The answer is , YES. The other question we have been getting is: ” If we can’t make all the sessions, is it still worth it?” Again, the answer is, YES. If you can’t make all sessions, write down the dates you wil not be attending, and deduct $10 for each session you cannot attend. We will be holding our testing Saturday morning, June 11th, from 7:30-8:30a.m., at Grass Lake School. The session is free to all athletes attending camp this summer. It is a good way for us to see our athletes as well as a way for everybody to meet each other before we start. We will be handing out Health questionnaires. These will need to be completed and returned. If you have any further questions, either e-mail us at info@kcconditioning.com, or call us at 847-395-6100. Your phone call will be answered at Colletti Physical Therapy. Just let them know you are calling for Kinetic Connections. See you on Saturday.
